Funny Face Bakery is a fast-growing, pop culture-inspired NYC bakery known for our detailed, hand-decorated cookies. We’re looking for seasonal Cookie Artists / Decorators to join our creative production team for the busy holiday season.

Our cookies are known for precise piping, clean line work, and highly recognizable designs, so we’re looking for people who are artistic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at a steady production pace.

Position Summary
As a Cookie Artist / Decorator, you’ll reproduce illustrated designs onto cookies using royal icing and piping techniques. You’ll work closely with our Artist Manager to maintain consistent quality while completing production goals each shift.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recreate illustrated designs using icing bags and piping techniques
• Produce clean, detailed, and consistent line work
• Follow direction and quality standards set by the Artist Manager
• Maintain an efficient pace while meeting daily production goals
• Manage time effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience with cookie piping, cake/pastry decorating, pastry school, or similar hands-on decorating experience
• Strong attention to detail and a steady hand
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining consistency
• Availability 2–3 days per week , with potential for additional/full-time hours during peak holiday production
• Must be available throughout the holiday season, September through January 1
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Interview Process
Candidates selected to interview will complete a short piping test using an icing bag and sample design so we can assess technique, accuracy, and comfort with the medium.

Portfolio
Examples of cookie decorating, cake decorating, pastry work, illustration, or other relevant artistic work are encouraged but not required.
