Controller

Peak to Creek Precision Staffing
Raleigh, NC | Base Salary: $140,000–$150,000

Peak to Creek Precision Staffing is partnering with an established business to find a Controller who can lead accounting operations and help senior leadership make informed financial decisions.

This role combines hands-on financial management with broader responsibility for budgets, cash flow, internal controls, and acquisition support. It’s an opportunity for an accounting leader who enjoys developing a team while staying closely involved in the business.

What You’ll Do

Lead accounting and financial reporting

• Oversee financial information, accounting policies, and internal controls across multiple business entities.
• Manage month-end close and prepare accurate financial statements with analysis for senior leadership.
• Hire, develop, and retain accounting staff supporting general accounting, sales tax, and payroll.
• Evaluate and implement accounting systems and process improvements.

Support planning and cash management

• Develop operating budgets and provide financial insight to support business planning.
• Monitor cash balances, forecast funding needs, and coordinate transfers between entities.
• Prepare midyear tax projections in collaboration with the tax team.

Coordinate tax and risk management

• Work with external CPAs to support tax preparation and review financial statements for submission.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and other insurance audits.
• Strengthen financial processes and controls as the business grows.

Support business operations and acquisitions

• Oversee employee benefit enrollment and assist with HR matters as needed.
• Support the financial setup of newly acquired entities, including tax identification registrations and bank accounts.

Compensation

Base salary: $140,000–$150,000
